How we work
OLYRON HealthMatch earns money when we connect you with a licensed advisor, never by selling your data to the highest bidder. Our comparisons and ratings are editorially independent of that.
Sourcing & dating
Every factual claim we publish carries a source and an as-of date. Our current dataset is dated 2026-01-15. When a federal table or market range updates, we bump the date and refresh the copy.
- HealthCare.gov — the official ACA Health Insurance Marketplace
- Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
- Medicare.gov — the official U.S. government Medicare site
- KFF (Kaiser Family Foundation) — health policy research
- U.S. Census Bureau — health insurance coverage data
- Internal Revenue Service (IRS) — HSA and premium tax credit rules
- HHS / ASPE — federal poverty guidelines
- CMS Center for Consumer Information & Insurance Oversight (marketplace types)
- Medicaid.gov — federal Medicaid program information
- CMS — Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines (TPMO)

Quality gate
Programmatic pages are scored 0–100 on length, lexical uniqueness, data blocks, and citations. Anything below 60 renders noindex and stays out of the sitemap. Thin or templated pages never get indexed.
Recommendation rankings
“Best for” rankings are computed deterministically from tags and price tiers in our curated registry — not invented by the AI. The advisor narrates the same ranking the page shows.
How we make money
When you request a match, we may connect you with a licensed advisor in our network. Those partners pay us when they accept a lead. That relationship does not change our editorial rankings, and we do not sell your personal information to the highest bidder.
What we do not do
- We do not diagnose conditions or give medical advice.
- We do not invent ratings, reviews, or star scores.
- We do not claim health sharing is insurance.
- We do not offer every Medicare plan in your area (see our TPMO disclaimer).
